Maison Mayci is proud to host the debut pop-up from two Birmingham exciting young chefs — Leonardo Diogo and Jordan Scott — bringing together South American flavours with a British twist for one unforgettable evening.
Leonardo, originally from Brazil, honed his craft through years of experience in some of Birmingham’s leading kitchens, including Orelle, Opheem, and the acclaimed Chakana, where his passion for vibrant South American cuisine first took centre stage. His food is creative, colourful, and full of soul — rooted in the warmth and energy of Latin flavours, balanced with modern fine dining technique.
Jordan’s journey spans over a decade across Birmingham’s dynamic food scene, with key roles at venues such as Chakana, The Physician and The Loft. His cooking combines precision, depth of flavour, and an instinct for balance — a reflection of his British culinary grounding and his love for quality, seasonal ingredients.
The pair first met while working side by side at Chakana, where they discovered a shared vision for food that connects cultures and tells a story. Their collaboration now comes to life at Maison Mayci — a menu that celebrates the meeting point between South American soul and British craftsmanship.
